Stay up for some late-night festive shopping
Each year, we start the festive period with good intentions – to bestow our recipients thoughtful Christmas gifts that they will cherish for years to come. Unfortunately, the year rushes by and our shopping experiences often end up more mad-dash than careful perusing.
Fortunately, some of Brisbane’s best shopping precincts are extending their hours to afford you a slower-paced, festive shopping experience. Take your wish list over to James Street on Thursday December 5, for its late-night shopping evening from 5:00 pm. Browse the precinct’s many shops, with special in-store events taking place and carolling filling the street.
Then, on Saturday December 7, Paddington’s Upper Latrobe Terrace presents its Christmas Community Festival, running from 11:00 am and into the evening. The event will share storytelling, gift wrapping, a fashion parade, live entertainment, chocolate tasting and face painting, all while supporting The Smith Family.
