Kitty Flanagan says hello at Brisbane Powerhouse
Some people are born to be entertainers, able to make others laugh out loud, leaving stitches in sides, while others have to rely on the ever-cringe-worthy dad joke. Luckily for comedienne Kitty Flanagan, her talents lie in the former category.
From Thursday August 23, Kitty will be touching down in the River City to perform for her fans at the Brisbane Powerhouse. Kitty has carved herself a strong career in Australian comedy with her unique humour that is at once sweet and vicious. She has taken the time to tour regularly, as well as her previous stints on The 7pm Project and Good News Week.
Kitty is now based in London and has just taken a dive into the writing pool, helping to direct and create the short production Dating Ray Fenwick, featuring Calendar Girls star Georgie Glen. When Kitty reaches Brisbane this weekend, she will be performing her latest show Hello Kitty Flanagan. It will be an educational affair throughout the evening as Kitty peruses and discusses questions that have not yet been answered, or probably even thought of.
@ Brisbane Powerhouse, August 23 to September 2.
