View the colours of Kaleidoscope at REDSEA Gallery
Kaleidoscopic imagery will line REDSEA Gallery when a joint exhibition between Zhong Chen and Bruce Earles opens next week.
From August 5–31, the vibrant paintings of Melbourne-based artists Zhong Chen and Bruce Earles will be brought together, exhibiting the energetic and spirited nature of each man’s artworks. Born in China, Zhong Chen moved to Australia at 19 years of age, and has been a finalist for the Archibald Prize three times. Zhong says that his paintings reflect his cultural identity as an Australian-Chinese artist.
Bruce Earles, who has been painting since the 1980s, embraces his inner child to produce his imaginative works. Celebrating the notion of urban life, Bruce splashes his enthusiasm for life across the canvas. The opening event for Kaleidoscope will be held at REDSEA Gallery on Saturday August 9, from 4:00–7:00 pm.
