Pre-show performance at Indie: Unlocked
Throughout La Boite’s Indie season, the rehearsal room has been transformed into a secret cave of socialising. The transformation is named the Indie Bar and features enough drinks and dancing to entertain you for hours – the only things you need to bring are yourself and some companions.
The bar itself is open pre-show, as well as during the interval and afterwards, giving you prime opportunity to give the space a visit, no matter the time of night. There you can sip on some cider or share something a little stronger while you discuss the arts at length.
This Friday night, venture down for the second Indie:Unlocked gig in the Indie Bar, held post the La Boite performance. Featuring a local band with each new Indie performance, Indie: Unlocked extends your arts experience when visiting the theatre and provides a chilled out lair for a cheek Friday night tipple. Local neo-soul/experimental pop songstress Hannah Macklin plays this Friday July 27, with the next series held in November with performances by Elliot Western of Oceanics and The Good Ship.
