Brisbane Powerhouse gets deep In Conversation
Two of Australia’s most prominent entertainers will be taking time to sit down for an in-depth interview at Brisbane Powerhouse in the coming weeks for In Conversation with Paul Barclay.
Brisbane Powerhouse will be welcoming acclaimed comedic actress Magda Szubanski and former musician and politician Peter Garrett for two nights of insightful conversation in October. On Friday October 16, Magda Szubanski will sit down with Paul Barclay to discuss her evolution as a writer and storyteller. Magda will enlighten audiences with stories of self-discovery, her journey from childhood to adulthood, her thoughts on sexuality, fear and life.
Monday October 26 will see Peter Garrett sit down, again with Paul Barclay, to talk about his journey from University in Sydney to fronting Midnight Oil and to his time in parliament. Peter will discuss his time as Minister for the Environment in two Labor governments and how it impacted his ideals as an environmental activist. Tickets are still available for both evenings, but be sure to act quickly or risk missing out on two evenings of enlightening conversation.
