Real talk – Brisbane has got it going on year-round when it comes to culinary prowess, but we’re certainly not ones to complain about a whole month dedicated to all things dining in our city. Throughout July, Brisbane is set to become a hotbed of all things eat and drink for the annual epicurean marathon that is Good Food Month, hosting a series of specially curated foodie events designed to make you drool. We already spilled the beans on the first announcement of the program back in May, so we thought we’d treat you to some other tasty titbits to get you excited for the month ahead.

While a couple of the Good Food Month presented by Citi events that were predicted to reach capacity have indeed already sold out, there are still a host of amazing experiences to enjoy over the course of the July program. While the Adam Liaw and GOMA x Lûné events are fully booked, you can still nab spots at the Young Chefs Lunch and the Three Blue Ducks Byron to Brisbane Trail – so get in quick! This year also sees the return of the amazing Let’s Do Lunch presented by Church Road initiative, allowing diners to get their hands on delicious fare from Good Food Guide hatted restaurants for a fraction of the regular cost – we’re talking $45 for a mouth-watering meal from award-winning spots.

The brains behind Good Food Month also recognise that nobody knows Brisbane food better than the restaurateurs themselves, so they have partnered with a range of our city’s best institutions for Friends of Good Food Month. This is a mouth-watering event series where restaurants are invited to curate and host their own unique experiences, letting the chefs themselves take charge of what they want to spotlight. Amongst this year’s offering are experiences from Salon de Co, Urbane, ARC Dining and Wine Bar, Motorwagen, Stokehouse Q and loads more to enjoy– you can check out the complete list of participating spots here.

This is just the cherry on top of the stacked sundae that is Good Food Month – for ticketing details and a full run-down of all the delicious things you can do, head to the official website.
