Engage your eyes at the Gold Coast Film Festival
In its 11th year, the Gold Coast Film Festival is returning to our southern neighbour from April 3–13.
For ten days, the Gold Coast Film Festival will inspire, educate and entertain with its collection of critically acclaimed foreign-language films, horror features and sci-fi screenings, alongside anime, family, comedy and drama films. Locally produced independent films will also be screened throughout the film-lovers’ event, and a series of seminars and workshops hosted by local and international filmmakers is scheduled to take place during the event’s happenings.
Opening with the much-awaited work of Wes Anderson, the multi-genre film festival will screen The Grand Budapest Hotel at Pacific Fair’s cinemas on April 3. The familiar faces of Ralph Fiennes, Adrien Brody, Willem Dafoe, Jeff Goldblum, Jude Law, Jason Schwartzman, Owen Wilson and Billy Murray (among others) will share the big screen during Wes’s newest work, which festivalgoers will have an opportunity to ogle in advance.
