On Friday December 20, Brisbane band Go Violets will share its blend of 1960s garage and 1990s pop sounds with Alhambra Lounge audiences as part of Friends. The group has recently debuted its first EP Heart Slice, produced by Sean Cook (formerly of Yves Klein Blue) and mastered by Greg Calbi (of Sterling Sounds). Go Violets’ EP includes its single ‘Wanted’, a track that was mixed in New York City by Doug Boehm. The girls will be joined by The Babe Rainbow, Jesse Davidson and The Good Sports, and the venue’s popular combination of cheeseburgers, fussball, ping pong and old-school game systems will be offered alongside the performances.
