Get curious and creative at MoB’s fun and free activities
If you’re looking for fun and free events for the little artists in your family, Museum of Brisbane is hosting a spectacular selection of activities throughout the Easter school holidays that are both entertaining and educational. Creative creatures can unleash their inner artists with MoB’s Play Moves Badge Studio. Inspired by the Play Moves exhibition, kids of all ages will have the chance to create their own stylish piece of wearable art. Teens will have the opportunity to get creative with tape and explore the vibrant signature style of MoB’s artist in residence Vanghoua Anthony Vue in a 90-minute workshop that fuses principles of architecture, language and textile design. Keep the little ones entertained with MoB’s activity sheet for kids, featuring a game of eye spy that will immerse them in local art, history and culture across five different exhibitions. Tots can celebrate the tenth anniversary of City Hall’s restoration by designing your very own City Hall building – from crazy clock towers to rocket ships, the architectural possibilities are endless.
