On Sunday June 24, Portside Wharf will come alive in a flurry of food, fashion and family-friendly fun for its inaugural Flavours of Portside event, celebrating all aspects of the precinct in signature riverside style.
It’s no secret that Portside Wharf is packed with prime retailers, and Flavours of Portside is a perfect opportunity to experience the best parts of the precinct all in one day. The event is pretty much a big open food and lifestyle market set to showcase the offerings of the numerous retailers at Portside, shining a light on local food, fashion, produce and entertainment. This family-friendly event is designed to not only give people a chance to explore the precinct, but also provide an opportunity to hang out with friends and take advantage of our killer Queensland winter – all amongst the stunning riverside.
So what exactly will you find at Flavours of Portside? Organisers have gone all-out to ensure that the first event will leave a lasting impression, wrangling a range of cool activations and pop-ups to suit all kinds of tastes. Some of Portside’s most popular food retailers will be running pop-up food stalls on the day to showcase local and international bites, which will be complemented by a rad cocktail garden where you can sip winter warmer cocktails in the sun. Shopaholics will delight in the market hub, which will be brimming with eclectic fashion finds. A soundtrack of live entertainment will set the scene for the day, and don’t think the little ones have been forgotten – a dedicated kids zone will keep them thoroughly busy.
