The Finders Keepers Market is back with a treasure trove of local talent

Australia’s longest-running independent art and design market is back, baby – and when we say it’s bigger (and better) than ever it’s no exaggeration. Extended trading hours, a bevy of brand-new stalls and an elevated food and drink offering has further cemented the firm spot that Finders Keepers has in our hearts. Mark June 22–24 in your diary and make a beeline for the Brisbane Showgrounds, because this is one market you won’t want to miss.

Combining the soul of a festival with the spoils of a shopping spree, the Finders Keepers market has continued to grow since its humble beginnings in Sydney back in 2007. After another successful season down south, the market is migrating to Brisbane for its biggest offering to date, bringing ethical, thoughtful and local makers together for your convenience. As much as getting lost in the stalls is half the fun, no-nonsense shoppers on a mission will delight in the knowledge that Finders Keepers is the only market boasting an up-to-the-minute directory listing every vendor that will be appearing. Time to get planning, people.

The autumn/winter edition of this year’s Finders Keepers has gathered some seriously slick names, with more than 30 percent of the offering coming directly from our home state – think soothing balms from The Great State and sartorial delights from Alice Nightingale just for a start. There are also some southern names making a northern debut including Bridget Bodenham, Upswitch and Dana Kinter Art. Following its ripper introduction to the market in 2017, Magpie Goose is also returning with a stall three times as big. As if it couldn’t get any cooler, the Finders Keepers is also bringing its stellar Indigenous Program to Brisbane after a super-successful launch in Sydney earlier this year.

Ready to shop up a local storm? You can grab tickets to the Finders Keepers Autumn/Winter Market are just $5 at the gate, with your ticket granting you entry to all three days of the market.
