Brisbane turns up the heat for Fiesta Latina

Brisbane turns up the heat for Fiesta Latina

The G20 Cultural Celebrations are in full swing and Fiesta Latina is set to be the biggest party of the month. Experience some Latin-American culture with food, drink and live music this Saturday.

Although the G20 is serious business, much of Brisbane has taken it as an opportunity to turn up the heat and party. The city is lighting up this month with colour and activity, and Fiesta Latina is set to keep the trend going this Saturday, November 1.

The South Bank Cultural Forecourt will play host to a celebration of Latin-American heritage and community within Brisbane with a ‘Day of the Dead’ themed fiesta. Live music, food and drink will be on offer from 3:00 pm – be sure to keep your eyes peeled for the arrival of the Brisbane on Parade participants who will be marching carnival-style through Brisbane city to South Bank.

Don’t be afraid to dress up and get colourful and come ready to dance – there will be plenty of room for you to shimmy and shake. Come and experience the passion and diversity of Latin-America for free this weekend.
