Feast sumptuously at the 2014 Eat Your Words Festival

Brisbane’s writers, readers and thinkers will be chomping on delicious morsels of language this Sunday at The UQ Writers’ Club’s Eat Your Words Festival.

For the logophiles among us, who treat words as satisfying fodder to chew, digest and appreciate, the Eat Your Words Festival this weekend will be one delicious feast. An indulgent menu of events, from workshops with industry professionals to a discussion panel and games, will inspire local wordsmiths between 10:00 am and 7:00 pm on Sunday November 30 in the University of Queensland grounds, St Lucia.

Browse the event program and register your attendance for events such as a story development talk from QUT Creative Writing lecturer and published author Craig Bolland at 2:00 pm, a personal account from Rebecca Hensen of her journey from writing undergrad to published novelist at 3:00 pm, and an editing party at 5:00 pm. The day of events will be broken up with mind games in the Great Court to refresh busy brains, and bookworms can also swing by The Co-op Bookstore to pick up a tome from one of the authors appearing at the festival.
