Discover bohemian chic designs by DINJUAN at the Young Designer Market
The first Sunday of each month is a time to be inspired by the community of up-and-coming fashion designers and artists at the Young Designer Market.
One fashion label not to miss this season is DINJUAN, a brand that makes hats, jewellery, evening dresses, casual day wear as well as kids wear. Juanita Machado, the creative mind behind DINJUAN, grew up in South Africa and her collections are strongly influenced by the animal prints and vibrant colours she was exposed to in her youth. Juanita is also collaborating with a local craftswomen to produce her accessories and a soon-to-be-released range of sandals. DINJUAN sources its fabrics from all over the world including Malaysia, Italy and Spain and the patterns are influenced by the cuts from Japanese kimonos where the fabric drapes and falls freely, allowing each garment to fit most shapes and sizes.
Stop by and say hello to Juanita at this weekends Young Designer Market on Sunday May 1 from 10:00am to 4:00 pm and immerse yourself in the range of fashion and accessories, jewellery, homewares, object design furniture and arts that this creative market has to offer.
