Design showcase Brisbane Indesign returns to Fortitude Valley

James Street loves its Up Late events, none more so than tonight’s new Brisbane Indesign festival where fashion, interior design and art unite with music, food and drink to celebrate Queensland design culture.

An intro to the two day event, Up Late In Design will see design-conscious consumers and industry professionals mingle amongst the public art installations, outdoor cafes and pop-up bars as conceived by collaborative teams of architects and fashion designers.

Brisbane Indesign will then continue over Friday and Saturday with events organised across local showrooms, featuring more than 250 brands across 27 locations. From Artisan to Cafe Culture and Zepel Fabrics to Luxxbox, view the newest products and discuss the latest trends across the design industry.

Friday night will see designers of Hynes Street, architects, engineers and interior designers come together with QUT students to create a lively party hub of music, espresso martinis and street food to help promote laneway culture in Brisbane.
