If you are looking for a way to embrace the slightly sinister festivities of both Halloween and Day of the Dead, perhaps you should pop in to C Gallery. The Fortitude Valley gallery will provide a ghoulish backdrop for creative duo Dirie Dirie Me‘s latest release – a range of Day of the Dead-themed tea sets, made exclusively for Australian tea company SLURP. From 6:30–9:00 pm this Thursday the designs will be on display, with all items available for purchase and a silent auction running to raise money for the QLD Blood Bank. Perusing the collection you’ll see intricate Spanish floral prints and colours adorn the shiny ceramic skull teapots, which will make an interesting addition to any high-tea occasion.
