Sip and sample your way through the south’s best wine and cheese

When it comes to top ways to spend an evening, you’d be hard-pressed to find anything more dreamy than swanning around a moonlit courtyard sipping and nibbling on some of Australia’s best wine and cheese. If this sounds like your kind of heaven, you will be thrilled with the next piece of news we are about to share. Coming to Treasury Brisbane for one night only on Friday March 24, Cheese and Wine of Southern Australia will showcase some of our country’s best bites and drops from below the border.

If you are fond of a fancy drop, the offering at Cheese and Wine of Southern Australia is sure to thrill you – after all, the states down south are renowned for having some of the best wineries in the world. Both Victoria and South Australia will be represented on the night, with drops hand-selected from areas that are famed for their grapes. Journey through the rolling valleys of Mornington Peninsula, the iconic Yarra Valley vineyards, Barossa Valley’s inimitable ravines and the boutique cellars of Adelaide Hills, stopping at each to sip and savour the flavour.

When it comes to the eats, Cheese and Wine of Southern Australia will offer a perfectly paired selection of bites for the evening. A stellar line-up of some of Victoria’s most prestigious cheesemakers will be showcasing their wares, accompanied by a solid selection of antipasto favourites like chargrilled vegetables, assorted dips, artisan breads and more. To top it all off, the evening will be taken to the next level with some luxe live entertainment to keep toes tapping and spirits high.
