A trinity of good taste – Cheese, Wine & Hops takes over Treasury Brisbane

Three is a magic number – many of us associate it with luck and good fortune, attributing it to the most positive of unions. There is an event coming that proves all of the best things come in threes – following on from its sold-out cheese and wine trail earlier this year, Treasury Brisbane is once again turning its Hotel Courtyard into a foodie paradise for one magical night. On Friday September 15, Cheese, Wine & Hops will bring the three titular items together for three hours of free-roam feasting, all for a very nice price indeed.

When it comes to the food and beverage offering, Cheese, Wine & Hops really lives up to its name. More than ten unique house wines will be on offer for your sampling pleasure, focusing on an all-around international experience. Drops from the likes of bubbling Chandon, the flavour-packed ravines of New Zealand’s Squealing Pig and the French enchantments of Rameau d’Or Provence Rose are joined by Saltram 1859, T’Gallant Juliet, Devils Lair, Tar & Roses, Oatley Wines and Oakridge to represent both home-grown and overseas tipples. The hoppy portion of the evening will be catered by the legends from Little Creatures, bringing a selection of brews to the table.

As for the moment you’ve all been waiting for, the food at Cheese, Wine & Hops will knock your socks off. This is what cheese dreams are made of – a whopping selection of creamy and luxurious cheeses will be offered up alongside perfect party snacks to the tune of mixed olives, chargrilled vegetables, assorted dips, dried fruits, fried pumpkin flowers, arancini, wood-fired pizza and artisan breads. If you thought these proceedings couldn’t get any classier, think again – smooth jazz crooners Rhydian and the Residuals will be singing sweet tunes to take the vibe to the next level.

Feel like a Friday night wine trail is right up your culinary alley? You can pick up tickets to Cheese, Wine & Hops through Treasury Brisbane.
