When an artist uses adornment as an aesthetic and tool for material exploration, the resulting artworks are bound to reveal colour, texture and decorative embellishment. Chantal Fraser’s works are the resulting vision of cross-cultural representations, through silhouette and the embodiment of adornment. From Saturday October 12, Spiro Grace Art Rooms will become home to Chantal’s ornamental pieces. The Brisbane-based multimedia artist’s unique creations have been exhibited in galleries all over the world, and will adorn the space at Spiro Grace Art Rooms until Saturday November 2.
