Shakespeare's account of the Roman general's murder by his friend Brutus, The Tragedy of Julius Caesar, is a meditation on friendship, duty and betrayal. The psychological drama was first performed in 1599 and has been adapted many a time – from Orson Welles' 1937 version to Broadway shows and even on the big screen with Marlon Brando. Now, a talented troupe from La Boite Theatre is taking on the iconic play and making it their own.
