The Lifted Brow launches tome at Avid Reader

It’s been five deliciously enthralling years of short stories, essays and commentary from the folk behind literary magazine The Lifted Brow, and now founding editor Ronnie Scott has selected some of the very best pieces for its first treasure tome. The anthology celebrates the publication’s past by collating previously published works from gifted wordsmiths like Benjamin Law, Romy Ash, Tao Lin and David Foster Wallace, and tucking them into the covers of The Best of The Lifted Brow: Volume One. Give literature a metaphorical high-five at The Lifted Brow’s Brisbane book launch, taking place at Avid Reader in West End on Wednesday October 23. more
