Fill your heart (and belly) at the White Ribbon Day Breakfast

In Australia, domestic and family violence is disturbingly common. It is a heartbreaking issue that continues to run rampant in our society and one that comes with a staggering set of statistics. While these statistics paint a grim picture, we take comfort in the fact that there are more and more voices speaking out and standing up for the survivors of these horrors. For yet another year, the Queensland Government's White Ribbon Day Breakfast is taking us a step in the right direction, giving survivors, advocates, ambassadors and change-makers a platform to share their stories to help end domestic and family violence. Taking place on Friday November 25 at the Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre, the morning meet-up aims to educate and inspire change - and fill some hungry tummies in the process. more
