Second time around – here’s the rescheduled BrisAsia events you can catch this weekend

When we mentioned that a Lunar New Year Rooftop Party was coming to town as part of the BrisAsia Festival, you guys got all kinds of excited. It was a huge bummer when the event was called off due to extreme weather last weekend, but we were offered almost instant relief with the announcement that the event was moved to this Saturday March 3. The Sunnybank cinema rooftop will be transformed into a bright and bold celebration of all things Asian – think delicious food and drink, live music, entertainment and a spectacular fireworks display all inspired by traditional Lunar New Year festivities. Another big BrisAsia Festival event that copped the wrath of some nasty weather was Kisaragi Sai and its accompanying kite procession as part of the Kite Wishes Project.
