The term capitalism rarely conjures up images of fun and frivolity, but it is a subject that continues to stir endless debate. The performance Capital is one that will put a creative spin on the economic system, seeking to change minds and opinions on the subject, albeit through dance. The creation of a Slovenian dance troupe, Capital is an interactive performance that has made its way to Australia for the first time as a part of Brisbane Festival. The piece was created and is performed by Tina Dobaj Eer and Gregor Kamnikar, in collaboration with a few local guest performers and a live musician.
