Brisbane Fringe Festival launches around the city

The Brisbane Fringe Festival returns for the fourth time in 2015, bringing a diverse range of music, comedy, theatre, poetry, circus, cabaret and visual art exhibitions to venues across the city.

Brisbane is set to explode with a huge program of arts and live performance events kicking off in venues around the city from Saturday August 15 to Sunday August 30. Mark the fourth Brisbane Fringe Festival in your calendars this month to catch a talented bunch of local artists singing, dancing, acting, reading and above all, entertaining and engaging the Brisbane community. More than 68 acts will offer multiple performances in locations such as the Brisbane Jazz Club, Work-Shop, The End and many more.

The festival will launch with the Opening Ceremony at The Motor Room tomorrow, Friday August 14, before offering up a smorgasbord of events and culminating with the official Closing Ceremony on Saturday August 29. Check out an improvised soap opera, live comedy podcast, theatrical portrait of Zelda Fitgerald, 1990s dance party and much more. Download the 2015 program online or check out Sticky Tickets to secure your spot.
