Be captivated by a whirlwind of music, comedy, theatre, writing, poetry, circus, cabaret, visual art and creative workshops when Brisbane Fringe Festival fills local venues from this weekend. In its third annual appearance, the not-for-profit festival will showcase Brisbane’s diverse vanguard artistic community from Thursday August 14 to Sunday August 31. From restaurants and bars to traditional live music venues, the Brisbane Fringe Festival stage knows no limits, with the launch party kicking off at The Zoo tonight, before traversing locales like Lock ‘n’ Load, Lucky Duck, Avid Reader, The Tivoli and Black Bear Lodge.
