Be enchanted by the second Queensland Ballet Vis-à-vis series

Strength, agility, patience and practice … while ballet dancers make their fluid movements seem so easy, this delicate yet highly controlled art form is an expression of the inner self as well as a form of enchanting movement.

Opening the door into a dancer’s world, this second installment as part of the Vis-à-vis Studio Series by the Queensland Ballet unites the audience and dancers through the relaxed studio setting of the Thomas Dixon Centre in West End.

Entitled Nurturing Creativity, follow outgoing artistic director François Klaus as he presents a breath-taking program of short dance pieces, including excerpts from renowned performances Don Quixote, Peer Gynt and Maud’s Musings. With former Queensland Ballet dancers Martin Collyer and Rosetta Cook, and company dancer Teri Crilly, performing new works, this performance will dazzle balletheads and tutu-enthusiasts with the superb skill behind each carefully placed step.
