Avant-garde Edward Guglielmino takes to the stage with The Show

Edward Guglielmino has just arrived back from what some would call a musical holiday – after the release of his first album Late At Night, he took some time off. Now he’s back with a vengeance – you can catch his quirky musical musings as he takes to the stage with his new band The Show on Saturday May 19 at the Judith Wright Centre.

The event will showcase his latest album release Sunshine State. Edward’s second album was recorded throughout 2011 locally, in conjunction with producer Jamie Trevaskis (from The Gin Club fame) at his Junkship studios. Sunshine State is an exploration of Edward’s new found grown-up life through his avant-garde pop sound. The album will be released on the night, in conjunction with the show, giving fans immediate access to his latest release.

Featuring along with Edward on the album is his new band, The Show, which includes Sam Schlencker (of Skinny Jean) and Rowley Cowper and Kirsty Tickle (of Little Scout). The night will commence at 7:00 pm and opening the performance will be fellow local bands Moneet in the Air, followed by the Jeremy Neale Five.

Tickets to the event can be bought on the Judith Wright Centre website.
