Artslink Queensland opens new gallery in Teneriffe

Mr. Rush Espresso Bar gets a new buddy this weekend, with the opening of Artslink Queensland’s new gallery space in Teneriffe.

Not-for-profit organisation Artslink Queensland – the collective responsible for inspiring arts throughout this sunlit state for more than 50 years – has unsealed the doors of its new Teneriffe-based art gallery. Huddled on Macquarie Street with the organisation’s arts-supporting espresso bar Mr. Rush, as well as its Brisbane headquarters, the gallery space will feature artworks created by a collection of renowned local artists.

Lined with a diverse assemblage of works, the gallery will be showcasing artists including Tim Sharp, Madeleine Ekeblad, Elizabeth Holian, Shionkias Ningyo, Alan Purnell and Hans Holbein the Younger. Each piece exhibited in the gallery space will be available for purchase and all profits will be reinvested into the organisation’s programs and artists. Head over to peruse the gallery space and follow your arts gazing with a drop of coffee from Mr. Rush.
