Just days to go until 40 Under 40 Awards Gala celebrates the best and the brightest of Queensland
In less than one week, 40 Under 40 Awards will finally return next Wednesday August 21 to unveil this year’s recipients. The annual event will champion the change makers, ground breakers and game changers who are helping to shape the future of Queensland. Presented by InQueensland and The Weekend Edition, the 40 Under 40 Awards Gala will be kicking off this Wednesday – with tickets selling fast. This year’s event will be hosted by actress and singer Naomi Price, with a guest speaker address by Future Anything’s Nicole Dyson.
Throughout the night, we’ll announce 2024’s final 40 and individual category awards for outstanding achievements – determined by our diverse judging panel of Queensland leaders and trailblazers. This year received an unprecedented number of applicants from a wide range of industries, locations and backgrounds.
The 40 Under 40 Awards Gala is to be held at the iconic Howard Smith Wharves. Primely located under Brisbane’s Story Bridge, the waterfront precinct boasts sweeping views, multiple dining destinations and an always bustling atmosphere. Howard Smith Wharves has remained a proud advocate of Brisbane’s always-evolving and magnetic culture and its this commitment to celebrating and empowering its local community that inspired its partnership with 40 Under 40 Awards.
Gala guests will be treated to a two-course dinner, with premium beverages from Fever Tree, Unico Zelo and Applewood Distillery. Both born in South Australia, Unico Zelo and Applewood Distillery are best known for their slew of cult-favourite drops, spirits and liqueurs which aim to toast to Australian culture. For froth fiends, Felons Brewing Co has curated a selection of its beloved beers to refresh your evening. Crafted at its Howard Smith Wharves-located brewery, Felons Brewing Co’s brews consist of a wide variety from ciders to pale ales.
The night will end with an afterparty hosted by Betty’s Burgers – just a stone’s throw away from the event. Finish the evening with a feast of Betty’s classic burgers along with a live DJ – all from the Howard Smith Wharves location.
With the event showcasing an array of talent from across Queensland, 40 Under 40 Awards joined forces with Hotel X as the event’s accommodation of choice. Conveniently located on Fortitude Valley’s Brunswick Street, Hotel X is in the heart of the action, offering playful touches of luxury from its central location.
40 Under 40 Awards presented by InQueensland and The Weekend Edition will announce this year’s winners on August 21, 2024.
