2014 AICE Israeli Film Festival rolls in to Brisbane

Cast an eye over the best of contemporary Israeli cinema as the 11th annual AICE Israeli Film Festival lights up Palace Centro Cinemas.

From a black comedy exposing the tribulations for women living in Israel to a documentary shadowing a World Chess Championship, the 2014 AICE Israeli Film Festival covers all manner of matters. Screening exclusively at Palace Centro Cinemas on James Street until next Wednesday August 27, the 11th annual festival has already enlightened audiences in Sydney, Melbourne and Canberra, and will soon continue on to Perth, Adelaide and Byron Bay.

The 2014 festival boasts a brilliant line-up of films navigating a range of genres from crime to comedy. Several special events have also been planned for the week, including a dance performance following the screening of Hora 79, and the premiere of The Green Prince on festival closing night.
