For real life! You can stay in Bluey’s family home right here in Brisbane
Bluey fans, we hope you’re sitting down for this next piece of news. In a secret location somewhere in the heart of Brisbane, something truly magical has happened … the Heeler home from Bluey’s world has been recreated – for real life! An almost exact replica of the beloved television show’s abode, this colourful residential home will be available to book for a two-night stay this month for one lucky family.
For those not-so-in-the-know, Bluey (from the titular ABC Kids animated television series) is a blue heeler pup that lives right here in sunny Brisbane. Her colourful family home is the backdrop of many of her crazy adventures and now, fans of the beloved TV show have the chance to stay in the Heeler home and create their own memories! Recreated to even the most quirky details that only true Bluey lovers will recognise, this breezy mid-century modern Airbnb property features Bluey and Bingo’s colourful bedroom, a toy-packed playroom (you’ll be able to spot Bluey’s Chattermax toy and Magic Xylophone) and a spacious backyard – complete with a trampoline, naturally. After the young-ins are tucked in and asleep following a day of play, parents will be able to retreat to Bandit and Chilli’s master bedroom for some well-deserved shut-eye.
As if staying in Bluey’s home isn’t cool enough (seriously, you’ll have brownie points with the kids for years if you’re lucky enough to score this mini holiday), this truly unforgettable weekend includes some extra perks. Guests will be taken on an exclusive behind-the-scenes tour of the Ludo Studio where Bluey is created and can get hands-on at a puppet-making craft session featuring Bluey’s famous Bob Bilby character. You won’t go hungry either as guests will be treated to a Chinese takeaway feast in the backyard and an afternoon cake-decorating session where you can test your culinary skills baking the Heelers’ famous duck cake.
Mark your calendars and set your alarms now as Bluey’s house will be available to book at 8:00 am AEDT on February 15 for a two-night stay from Feb 18–20, for two adults and two children for only $10 per night. Hop over here to have a look at the magical recreation. Don’t forget to bookmark the tab!
