There may be a surfeit of creative pot plant designers around the country, but shipping the heavy must-have beasts to your front door is no easy feat. Luckily two local ladies have put together their penchants for homewares and home nesting to good use, thinking up Well & Glasso pots.
Established just a few months ago, Well & Glasso is the creative side project of Brisbane-based friends Lauren Rothwell and Bree Origlasso. By day, Lauren is a nurse and Bree works in finance, with the pair now moonlighting as makers of planters adorned in bright pops of colour and geometric patterning. While the pair might be executing this creative outlet from the comfort of Lauren’s verandah in Norman Park, the fledgling brand has received a huge response, with a few custom creations even making it into the new Kiss The Berry premises in Brisbane City.
Well & Glasso pots are made from sandstone and feature one of six hand-painted designs, with colours and styles able to the mixed and customised to tastes – contact the girls via Facebook, Instagram or email to give one of these pretty pots a home.
