Stylecraft launches showroom on James Street
A sleek dining table handcrafted from sustainable oak, a copper-topped coffee table balancing a small stack of books, a signature armchair with natural leather cushioning and smooth cherry armrests – when dreaming up your perfect living space, the possibilities are endless.
Founded in 1953 in Melbourne as a workstation provider, Stylecraft expanded to Sydney then Singapore, with Brisbane the latest addition to the family. Teaming the official opening with a 60th anniversary celebration, the Brisbane showroom opened its doors in mid-December.
Local designers such as Derlot Editions and Luxxbox feature among the product range, which also sees Australian makers One Third and Ross Gardam amid European names. Focusing on quality furniture and original design, Stylecraft aims to provide architecture and design-savvy locals with beautiful pieces for work or home. Designed by Code Design, the Brisbane showroom weaves a series of design displays throughout the loft-like space.
