Say goodbye to subpar saucepans and hello Solidteknics cast iron cookware

If you take your home cooking seriously, then you know the importance of high quality utensils. Solidteknics has just successfully crowd funded its eighth range of goods – its new AUS-ION seamless steel pans collection. If Solidteknics’ reputation is any judge, these bad boys are the perfect addition to your kitchen arsenal.

For those that haven’t brushed up on their kitchen manufacturer knowledge recently, Solidteknics is a bit of a big deal in the realm of Australian cookware development. The company is founded by engineer Mark Henry and is responsible for the creation of goods such as Furi Knives and Diamond Fingers sharpeners. Lately, Solidteknics has been killing it at creating top-quality cookware, successfully crowdfunding eight (that’s right, eight) collections since 2014 alone. The latest range, the AUS-ION cookware collection might be the most impressive yet.

The Solidteknics AUS-ION range features a selection of seamless one-piece formed-iron chef pans, which are just as durable as cast iron but with half the weight. The pans are Australian-made, and feature no rivets for improved hygiene and a broad concave handle for extra control. The AUS-ION range boasts skillets, griddle pans and woks of various sizes and shapes, and are used by many top-tier chefs across Australia. Sound like a good enough recommendation? Check out the AUS-ION and AUSfonte range on Kitchen Warehouse or in store at The Hospitality Store, Marcia’s on Montague, Executive Chef or the James Street Cooking School.
