Shiko is a pottery line run by designer and maker Sophie Harle, who creates a range of items inspired by the Japanese concept of Mingei. The concept emphasises the importance of vessels used in every day life, and Sophie has created a large range of bowls and plates that are perfect for regular use. Each type of product is created in small batches, made and glazed by hand in a gas kiln, creating unique variations in the colour and finish.
