Sex, Drugs & Helvetica design conference returns to Brisbane
A one-day inspirational conference about design in practice, Sex, Drugs & Helvetica returns to QUT Gardens Theatre in Brisbane City this Friday September 19.
The program brings together a wealth of talent from Australia and abroad, to shed light on the industry and inspire other designers through addressing real topics and issues that impact designers day to day. This year’s speakers include Sydney’s Chris Doyle (Chris Doyle & Co.) and Tim Buesing (Reactive), Brisbane’s Kevin Finn (TheSumOf), Melbourne’s Fabio Ongarato and Ronnen Goren of Fabio Ongarato Design and Michaela Webb (Round), and Michael C Place (Build) from the UK.
These six design studios will take you through all aspects of one of their projects – both the challenges and the learning curves, and the positive outcomes. Sex, Drugs & Helvetica will run from 9:30 am to 5:00 pm, including a meet and greet with the speakers, and, of course, followed by an after party. Find your ticket here.
