Stay a little longer on James Street with a room at Sage Hotel
One of Brisbane’s most stylish promenades is set to welcome a new face to its midst in the form of Sage Hotel. As of Wednesday March 1, Sage Hotel is enticing Brisbane locals and travellers with the chance to base themselves a mere stone’s throw from some of the best retail and hospitality hotspots around.
Over the past few months we’ve been fidgeting and fussing with excitement over the imminent opening of James Street’s newest luxury accommodation destination, and now our barely contained patience is being rewarded. Sage Hotel James Street has now opened to the public, and it’s already promising to be a fantastic destination for a cheeky weekend staycation. Spread over four levels and boasting 93 boutique rooms, Sage Hotel James Street is blending the traditional elements of the neighbouring QA Hotel with a smart and modern interior.
The lobby has been beautifully appointed with polished aggregate concrete floors, split-aged and recycled sand stock brick to create a refined industrial aesthetic, which is illuminated by The Knot – a Karim Rashid-designed light fixture. Sage Hotel James Street’s lobby also houses a cafe, deli and cellar, in addition to the Botanical Kitchen & Bar, which serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. Guests can make use of an event and function space or can choose to stretch their legs by taking a stroll down James Street’s flourishing surrounds.
Sage Hotel James Street opened to the public on Wednesday March 1. Consider booking a room next time you are keen to treat yo’ self.
