Hop out of bed on time with help from the Ruggie Alarm Clock
If you’ve ever turned your alarm off in the morning only to promptly fall back asleep, Ruggie will get you on your toes on time with its innovative technology.
Snoozing is a dangerous game – it’s nice to get a few extra minutes of shut-eye in the morning but sometimes it only makes it harder to get moving. Not only do you run the risk of being late for your day, but also more often than not you are stuck in a lazy pattern for your entire day. Ruggie seeks to solve those slumber issues by creating an innovative alarm clock that can only be turned off by getting out of bed and standing on it.
Made from soft memory foam, Ruggie is a comfortable pad that is best placed next to the bed. In order to turn off the alarm Ruggie needs to sense pressure from both feet for three seconds before it turns off. The alarm tone is customisable and can play custom sounds uploaded from your computer via USB. Other great features include a bright LED light display that lists the time and works as a night-light if you need to make a trip to the bathroom or kitchen. Ruggie was successfully crowd-funded and can be pre-ordered through IndieGogo for shipping in September 2016.
