Scent your space with Pigeon & Weasel candles
From humble beginnings experimenting with a home candle-making kit, Pigeon & Weasel has grown to create a range of delicious scented candles and diffusers.
Pigeon & Weasel are Clayton and Prue, two housemates living together in Sydney. Clayton was a beer-drinking graphic designer and Prue was a primary school teacher, who would fill the house with candles to cover Clayton’s beer odour. After receiving a candle-making kit from one of Prue’s students, the pair decided to try their hand at the craft. Although their first attempt wasn’t amazing, they kept at it, but were at a loss as to what vessel they should put their candles in. Noticing the house’s oversupply of empty beer bottles (and after a bit of YouTube bottle-cutting research) the answer was clear, and from that moment Pigeon & Weasel was born.
Pigeon & Weasel predominately sells its range through its online store, which includes cut long-neck and stubbie soy-wax candles, as well as reed diffusers housed in uncut bottles. Classic scents include Black Lavender, Caramelised Fig, Fresh Linen and Red Frogs (yes, exactly like your childhood red-lolly memories), and Pigeon & Weasel have also released a limited-edition artist series, with scents such as Peachy Keen with artwork by Furry Little Peach. You can browse the Pigeon & Weasel range on its online store, locally at Something About Audrey in Sandgate, or online at Pitbull Mansion, Hunters & Gatherers Bazaar, Antipodean Love and House of Gypsy.
