Karaoke stages, waterfalls and Turkish bathhouses – five baller Queensland pads that you can call yours

We’ve all fantasised of living in a huge mansion with enough rooms to get lost in. In reality, however, our budgets are a little (lot) more modest – though it doesn’t hurt to dream. With a little help from a certain search engine, we can have a sneak peek at extravagant addresses that just scream luxury. We're not talking your standard six-bedroom, five-bathroom mansions here – we're talking straight-up 80s-drug-dealer yes-I-have-my-own-helicopter ridiculousness – and there are SEVERAL (well, at least five) of these mansions currently on the market in Queensland. So if you've got a spare $8 (or $45) million lying around, time to get out the cheque book and live your Tony Montana dreams. If not, it might be time to arrange that sugar daddy. more

Trade in your old flat-pack furniture for shiny new things with IKEA’s buy-back scheme

We are going to come right out and say it – we have a love/hate relationship with Gumtree and various other selling platforms. On the one hand, it’s like getting free money when you sell something you no longer use but on the other, you have to endure low-ball offers and more ghosts than a haunted house. Thankfully, there is an alternative courtesy of IKEA’s innovative buy-back scheme. more

We've found a spot to add to your Queensland bucket list – Reefworld, an undersea accommodation in the Whitsundays where you can spend the night sleeping amongst the colourful aquatic garden that is the Great Barrier Reef. This nautical experience gives a whole new meaning to ‘a room with a view’. more

Sip brilliantly with LARQ’s self-cleaning water bottle

Reusable bottles are great – not only are they better for the environment than single-use plastic ones, but if you carry one, you're ten times more likely to drink more water than if you weren't carrying one and are one thousand times more attractive! E tū is turning festival waste into everyday bags

It may be hard to believe but there was once a time when camp gear cost a pretty penny because it was made from rugged materials and built to last. These days, you can pick up a two person tent for as little as $12. The availability of low-cost camping equipment coupled with the rise in summer music festivals has created a perfect storm with a report from Green Music Australia revealing that one in five attendees at Falls Festival, Party in the Paddock and Unify purchased a new tent for the festival and that punters were four times more likely to abandon it if their friend did it too. While it's indeed a bleak scenario, there is a glimmer of hope – Melbourne's E tū is turning the tide on festival waste and transforming discarded tents into everyday bags. more
