A Tasmanian-based designer is crafting some eye-catching goods using eco-friendly resin that removes harmful by-products and reduces greenhouse gas emissions from the processing.

Put aside the fine China and forget the over-priced jewellery – an Australian business is making a name for itself by creating vibrant goods that resonate and engage far through the use of colour and care. Hanna Woolley has put her keen eye for design and environmentally conscious sensibilities to good use with her jewellery and homewares line, Nanna Woo. Aiming to create a fully sustainable and Earth-friendly business, Hanna creates her wares out of eco-friendly resin and pigments as well as recycled sterling silver, brass and copper.

Nanna Woo’s collection extends to homewares and jewellery, with pieces made from eco resin boasting eye-catching designs and colour schemes. The Metanical collection features a range of bowls and platters, plus rings, pendants, earrings and bangles – each item imbued with vivid colours and patterns. You can get your hands on Nanna Woo’s wares by visiting its Etsy page, heading along to The Finders Keepers Market on November 5 and 6 or venture north to House of Hedwig in Montville to inspect the goods up close.
