Imperfection and uniqueness celebrated in Brush and Wheel’s ceramic collection

Colour, texture and form are re-evaluated as Brush and Wheel shapes truly one-of-a-kind objects with the help of a trusty kiln

Laura Pascoe is an architect and an artist that has decided to try her hand at creating beautiful and rustic ceramics, jewellery and unique watercolours. The Brush and Wheel ceramic range boasts cups, bowls, dishes and vases all boasting attractive blemishes and colours. Typically glazed and wood-fired, each ceramic item is sturdy and rustic, perfect for those who prefer to stay away from mass-produced and uniform pieces.

The earring and brooches are similarly rustic and asymmetrical. Colourful ceramic fragments are fitted with pins and clasps, great for adding a personal touch to any outfits. Finally, all of Laura’s watercolours are spontaneous and formed organically, inspired by nature and reflective of Brisbane’s vibrant surroundings. You can catch Brush and Wheel at the Plantage Markets in Woolloongabba on Saturday November 14.
