Following on from similar projects undertaken on James Street, The Barracks in Paddington and SW1 in South Bank, developer Property Solutions has set its sights on Toowong as the next location for a luxury apartment tower. Commencing construction in the new year, Illumina will be the latest in a series of projects aimed at rejuvenating several areas in Brisbane’s inner suburbs, creating a modern addition in one of the most liveable sections along the Brisbane river. The Property Solutions Circa Nundah development recently won the Urban Renewal Award at the 2015 UDIA (Qld) Awards for Excellence, and Toowong is set to be the next in the company’s impressive portfolio.

Illumina will feature a selection of one, two and three-bedroom apartments spread over 21 levels. Amenities will include luxury additions such as an infinity-edge pool, entertaining spaces and even an open-air cinema. To further add new life to the suburb, Illumina will also house a mixed-usage precinct for boutique retailers and cafes. 2016 will see demolition commence on the corner of Jephson and Lissner Streets, with completion slated for 2017.
