Local Australiana chariot Everingham & Watson has embraced its Scottish roots and developed its own tartan based on founders Liz and Susie’s family tartans. The Everingham & Watson tartan has been dubbed Bruce + Sheila, melding the two cultures at the heart of the brand. The Bruce + Sheila tartan draws inspiration from the Buchanan and the Royal Stewart tartans steeped in Liz and Susie’s respective histories. This new pattern comes splayed across cushions, cards and a letterpress gift tag, which has been lovingly printed by Woolloongabba friendlies Little Peach Co.. The Bruce cushion is hand-screenprinted in royal blue and black ink on beige European linen, while Sheila employs royal blue and pink water-based inks on white European linen. The brand’s new range of printed cards sees a melding of the two tartans on white card, with the collection also dotted with designs inspired by surf and turf.
