Attend the Design Speaks: Our Houses talk with local architects

Known for their engagement with clients and moulding their residential designs to best reflect the way the client will live in the space, two Brisbane architects will give insight into their creative process at a design-thinking talk at The Edge.

Presented by Australian architecture and interiors magazine Houses, the Design Speaks: Our Houses talk will delve behind the scenes of two local architecture firms. James Russell of James Russell Architect will discuss how he has worked with a client on a residential property in Brisbane’s north, while Paul Hotston of Phorm Architecture + Design will talk about the room he designed in the house where singer/songwriter Grant McLennan of The Go-Betweens once lived.

Attendees heading along to gather ideas for their own future residential designs can also book a free ‘ask an architect’ consultation following the talk. The discussion is being held at The Edge on Sunday March 23 and tickets can be found here.
