Mirvac to release modernist Art House apartments

Anyone with a penchant for Mad Men or modernist inklings should turn their attention towards the new Art House residential towers by Mirvac.

Situated in South Brisbane, and combining iconic architecture with high-end amenities, Art House will set a new standard for inner-city apartment tower design. Situated at 48–58 Hope Street, the development is set amongst the galleries and museums of the cultural precinct as well as the dining pocket of South Bank. Featuring one and two bedroom apartments across towers of 189 and 140 apartments, this latest development focuses on considered design, functionality and smart living.

Mirvac has enlisted Melbourne architecture firm Rothelowman to execute the design – the same firm charged with designing The Glass Factory at West End and Austin at South Brisbane. A sense of timelessness lingers amongst the architectural design, with the towers offering sweeping views of the river and cityscape. The elevated Sky Deck on level 27 includes a large shared dining space, open-air cinema projector, outdoor kitchen with barbecue and pizza oven, and a special turfed area for yoga and pilates.

The first tower, housing 189 apartments, will be released to the market later this year, with a second tower to follow. Art House will form part of South Brisbane’s regeneration and offers visionary investors the opportunity to help shape the suburb’s exciting urban renewal.
