One of the most exciting developments in the inner city is Bekaa Group’s La Vida Apartments on 27 Commercial Road, Newstead. The concept was designed by Brisbane-based Ellivo Architects, who are also responsible for Yungaba and Queensland Multicultural Centre, and Fish Lane Apartments in South Brisbane.

The two building development will consist of 187 designer units that can be purchased in one-, two- and three-bedroom layouts. The apartments boast interiors designed by Marion Lam, with key features including quartzite stone bench tops, imported appliances and Italian floor tiles as well as glass feature panels that offer an abundance of natural light. The open-plan living will be combined with high ceilings and spacious balconies to create a breezy and comfortable living space from which to gaze upon the city. The complex will also feature a resort-style pool and entertaining area on the roof of both buildings, as well as barbecue areas, dining areas and sun lounges.
