Stones Corner set to enter a new era of medium-density living

Following the development of the Stone & Co apartments, a second residential development has been given the green-light in the Stones Corner village area, marking a new era of medium-density living.

The residential project, located at 20 Stoneham Street Greenslopes, will consist of 99 apartments (33 one-bedroom and 66 two-bedroom) and three commercial spaces, all spread over 11 floors. The apartment interiors have been designed to integrate with the building’s slick and modern architectural facade, with each space offering its occupants open plan living and dining areas spilling onto spacious balconies or terraces. The historic ‘Stoneham House’ – an existing pre-1911 building – will form the communal recreation area, which will boast an al fresco barbeque space, pool deck, and residents’ lounge and kitchen area.

Designed by Ellivo Architects for developer DeMartini Fletcher, landscaped areas have been integrated into the ground plane and the podium level, while the use of vertical trellises will allow greenery to extend up the tower. Located close to universities, major transport hubs and the city centre, there’s a whole lot going for this Stones Corner precinct, so stay tuned for future development news.
