Approval has been granted for a new 82-storey tower that will boast a stunning gold façade, luxurious amenities as well as new retail and commercial space.

Keep your eyes on the city skyline – a new striking tower is set to join the fold after approval was given for a luxury apartment building at 171 Edward Street. Designed by ROTHELOWMAN Architects and to be constructed by the Aria Property Group, the building will boast a curved gold surface inspired by Constantin Brancusi’s ‘Bird in Space’, and will also feature architectural flourishes such as peeling corners to maximise views as well as a four-storey podium base, which will house 2,100 metres of retail and commercial space.

A range of luxurious amenities will have any suburb dweller green with envy – 171 Edward Street will feature recreation floors for residents, offering a bar, theatre, karaoke facilities, a gym, yoga studio, pool, spa and a large landscaped roof garden. The icing on the cake is the Club Floor, which will be situated above the rabble on level 60, offering a dedicated kitchen, games room and second residents lounge. 171 Edward Street will reportedly feature a mix of one and two-bedroom dwellings – totalling 652 apartments. These cutting-edge apartments will be snapped up quickly, so be sure to move quickly once sales open to the public.
